People on the streets at night, hiding their lights inside their chests, trying not to show their glow. Looked at too many digital screens in the dark, the skin started to absorb the surface, started to shine. They didn’t expect this to be the side-effect, couldn’t calculate this radioactivity with their measuring equipment.
«Tell me everything you know about light» is a post-apocalyptic saga by elieli (Elisabeth Raymond). Eli is a multidisciplinary artist and choreographer navigating through a field of entanglement, connection and un-rootedness. They are working with scores of mapping and listening to the gentle pushes of bodies; bodies as in landscapes, bodies as in matter, bodies as in beings- how one thing is never separate from another.
How we touch, through reading this, how we touch.
Their work can be experienced through performances, workshops, writings, films and installations.
The exhibition is supported by The Swedish Arts Grant Comittee.
