In the 7th edition of Studio17’s reading group, the Conversation Pit, we will be discussing the definition of a “confidential project” outlined in The Institutionalization of Friendship by Russian contemporary art theorist and curator Viktor Misiano.
Using an example of a community of artists from Moscow and Ljubljana, Misiano is writing about politics of friendship and examining characteristics of artistic projects created with and for friends.
The text, selected by artist Ayatgali Tuleubek, can be accessed here: http://www.irwin.si/texts/institualisation/
